Croatia takes home Bronze Medals with 2-1 win over Morocco

Moroccan players were not happy with the referee Abdulrahman Al-Jassim in their match againts Croatia (1:2) for the bronze medals of the World Cup 2022. The Moroccans continued to argue with the referees after the final whistle.
Croatia quickly took the lead, in the fifth minute after the a set up pass from Ivan Perisic, defender Josko Gvardiol knocked the ball into the goal leaving Bounou no chance - 1:0. Two minutes later, the Moroccans leveled the score - defender Achraf Dari scored. In the 42nd minute, Croatia took the lead again thanks to a beautiful curler from Mislav Orsic. He was assisted by Marko Livaja.
In the second half, the score remained the same, but during the the course of the match the referee made a controversial decision not to award a penalty against Morocco for a foul on Josko Gvardiol. But in the end, Croatia took home bronze medals.
