USA is out of the World Cup After Loss to the Netherlands

The first match of the Round of 16 between the Netherlands and the USA has ended. The teams battled at the Khalifa International Stadium. The match was officiated by Brazilian referee Wilton Sampaio. Netherlands beat USA 3-1.

But, US could not build a comeback from this goal - five minutes later, Denzel Dumfries scored the third and final goal of the match. The result was - 3:1, Netherlands became the first quarter-finalist of the 2022 World Cup.

The opponent of the Netherlands in the quarterfinals will be the winner of the Argentina-Australia game, whose match will also be held today, December 3.
