One of the CRAZIEST days of 2022 World Cup

The two-day break from the World Cup came to an end, and the first quarter-final matches took place.

Croatia and Brazil were the first to play. Croatia, after a difficult time in the group, faced a new test against Brazil. In the Round of 16 they defeated Japan only in at the penalty shootout. The Brazilians, on the other hand, qualified from the group stage without any problems, and at the first stage of the knockout rounds they made a real mockery of South Korea. The outcome of the quarter-final battle between Croatia and Brazil turned out to be dramatic: Croatia endured Brazil's pressure until extra time, where both teams exchange goals. Croatia won 4-2 by penalties.

And in the evening the match between the Netherlands and Argentina took place. The Dutch did not really have any problems before: they got first place in the group, and in the Round of 16 they dealt with USA. Argentina started with a sensational loss to Saudi Arabia, then they won three matches in a row. Leo Messi and his teammates got a win this time too, but it was not easy: the Netherlands scored two goals in the second-half, and the game all they way to penalties where Argentina won 3-4.
