In the 65th minute, the Portuguese captain and striker Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring. The 37-year-old forward converted a penalty he had earned. Eight minutes later, Ghana scored a return goal, its author was forward Andre Ayew. The Portuguese scored again in the 78th minute thanks to Joao Felix. Two minutes later, Rafael Leau, who entered the field, extended the lead for Portugal. In the 89th minute, Ghana managed to win back one goal, forward Osman Boukari became the scorer. Earlier in group H, the national teams of Uruguay and South Korea played their match (0:0). In the next round, Portugal will play with the Uruguayans, and Ghana with the Koreans.
